Two cities in Brazil dedicated to King Jesus

Since 1999 in total six cities in Brazil have been dedicated to Jesus. In two of them Serving the Nations was involved.

TRANSFORMATION of DIADEMA.

In 1999 in Brazil three cities have been dedicated, by their Lord Mayor, to King Jesus.
In one of these, Diadema, the change can be called dramatic.
Diadema has 400.000 inhabitants and had untill now a massiv joblessness and by far the highest crime rate in the whole nation of Brazil.

In July 1999 I was invited to teach on city prayer in the congregation of pastor Manoel. This lively man used to be a crisis manager, who felt God say to him to bring Diadema to God. Two years ago he started a congregation, including a free dental service in the favela’s, prayer for the city government, prayer for and advice to the director of the hospital, and, very recently, prayer groups per city section. The following testimony was given when I visited Diadema again in april 2000 for further teaching.

During the first week of the prayer groups per city section a criminal gang reported to the police. Shortly after, as specifically prayer for, a high up freemason received Jesus, and not only broke away from his old life personally, but also broke the covenant-and-curses of the lodge over the city of Diadema.
In the mean time the pastor had started to research on the corporate sins of the city. Half way December pastor Manoel and eleven pastors of other denominations, confessed these, publicly with a loud speaker from a platform in the city square, before God and the crowd. Two days later he was invited to the Lord Mayor to guide him to confess the sins of the city!! Thsi Mayor had no relation to God but his praying sister in law, and had not heard about the public confessions two days before! Already the Mayor had decided to cut the consecration of the city to the “Lady of Diadema” or to yearly give the key of the city to king carnaval. When pastor Manoel and the eleven pastors explained their understaning to the Mayor, the Mayor confessed, kneeling and in tears, repeating the words of confession and dedication of the city to King Jesus. After that they hired a helicopter and four pastors baptised from the air a all corners the city with wine (the day they managed to find a helicopter was later found out to be the anniversary of the city)! Also the pastors went in two’s into the industrial estates to pray factories to re-open and to in jobs.

The first quarter of 2000 showed the following statistics. --The crime rate dropped from 150% higher than the 2nd place to the 3rd place. – and the shootings had dropped to 40%. – The number of dead during carnaval (a 24 hour prayer vigil was going on) was zero, for the first time ever; -- During carnaval no violence was reported in the hospitals. – Almost all closed factories had opened again.

Summer 2004 the socio-economic improvements in the city had gone so high and so stable, that the national government decided to study this phenomenon in order to learn from it for the whole nation.

Our merciful Lord has opened doors. Firstly, we are sewing a working alliance with Neuza Itioka´s ministry and Pr Gesler - Shekinah ministry, since they have a strong action towards Intercession and City conquering. The goal of this alliance is to get in harmony with them and to do some state and national events together.

We are propagating the Serving the Nations Ministry by mouth. We are getting a good acceptance and a few invitations to minister.

LAST DEVELOPMENTS ABOUT REDEMPTION OF THE CITIES
From 20 to 24 of September 2001, Pr. Andre went to Sao Luis (capital city of Maranhao State, chosen as historic site of humanity by UN). The state is governed by Roseana Sarney, daughter of Jose Sarney, the former president of Brazil. She is a woman tied to satanic worship to a point of keeping a guru beside her all the time, as a permanent spiritual counselor. The pastors of the city invited Pr. Andre to go there. As a result of the conferences, churches started for first time ever to participate in an interdenominational event, a prayer movement for the city and the pastors went on praying on strategic points of the city. Pr. Joaquim (host of Pr. Andre) lead them in intercession. Immediately, they got an answer from the Lord. The mayor went to the conferences and opened the doors of the City Hall for the redemption of the city. Since they would celebrate the city birthday, the mayor rented a helicopter and authorized the pastors to fly over the city and anoint it in its anniversary. And the next day, both the mayor and the governor handed the city keys to Pr. Joaquim and five more pastors. They still are being oriented by Serving the Nations ministry, through Pr. Andre, about the discipling of the city.

THERE IS MORE TO COME!
Next month, in November, Pr. Andre will equip a group of pastors in Sao Jose dos Campos (a leading regional industrial city - 650.000 inhabitants, about 100 km from Sao Paulo) towards conquering the city, together with Pr. Humberto Aragao, main leader of OM Brazil.
