Children of the world targeted in an apocalyptical way
A news paper article, originally written february 11, 2002

"Every year more than 20.000 families in Mexico are confronted with the disappearance or theft of a child", opens an article in our daily, to continue that in Mexico over the past six years about 130.000 children disappeared, according to chairman Juan Estrada of the "Mexican National Confederation for Lost Children." In this NGO several groups cooperate in the battle against the theft of children. He reports that a special unity has been established that fights against the trading in minor children. Mr. Estrada assumes that a number of these children are put on for adoption by criminal organizations, that others are being used for child-prostitution and child-pornography, and that other children die when their organs are being removed and sold for transplantation-purposes. The article points out that the battle against the abductions only can be successful when attention is paid to prevention and if the children’s rights are respected (Nederlands Dagblad, Feb. 9, 2002).

A wake up call.
During the next night the Lord woke me up and brought back to memory documentaries, television programs, photographs and articles on children that are in agony, one group after another. I felt as if the Lord was making an "alternative Hebrews 11 list", not the one with the heroes of the faith who went through cruel trials and ordeals and persevered, but a list children-victims, in their world of pain and loneliness and despair, who perished in the cruel hands of the enemy.

…children in an Islamic school in Khartoum, their ankles chained so that they only could walk steps of 15 cm (6 inches). Many of them were from the Christian south Sudan, carried off and put in slavery. Their faces sad, anxious, they had to learn by head portions from a scripture that was not the Scripture their parents had shared with them. If they did not learn fast enough they were beaten.

…children in North-Korea, starving to death, because of the famine. So young, babies still. I remembered the face of a small child, it looked like the face of a small monkey, the eyes out of proportion. It looked at the camera, a shadow of deep, deep sorrow sliding over its little face. In loneliness it turned away from the camera. That little child certainly is no longer alive. It was one of many.
…children in North-Korea, shut up in a cage, hungry, screaming because of the pains due to starvation. Crying when the imprisoned mothers were forced to pass by, so that they should see their suffering children, and then would renounce their Savior Jesus Christ, and receive "freedom".
There were those …
…children, "bred" in anonymity, never recorded in the city hall as a baby citizen, and children kidnapped, in order to be sacrificed as a blood-sacrifice to Satan or another blood-thirsty idol.
…children, babies even, in the Philippines, offered to tourists by their mothers, to be used for perverted sexual actions, in change for money.
…children, working as prostitutes to earn for their poor families, and being abused by depraved tourists.
…children in Germany, lent out by their parents, for a weekend to be sexually abused by strangers.
…children-soldiers, forced to carry a gun or knives and to become involved in bloody wars in which they kill people, in Liberia, in Congo and a number of other nations. How can these murderous child-soldiers ever become healthy teeners again?
…children who have to walk through the mine-fields to detect the mines at the expense of their lives.
…children, HIV-positive, many of them suffering from aids.
…children, orphans, their parents having died from aids. Nobody to feed them, to cuddle them, to wipe their tears.
There were those …
…children, in the womb, where they should be safe and loved and received. Burnt with salt, or pulled apart by medical instruments, in deep agony because of the pain (fetuses experience the pain relatively much sharper than after birth; abortion-victims suffer intensely), 50.000.000 babies a year at the moment, but the number needs to be increasing in the coming years, according to some UN-agents.
…children, feeling unsafe, and insecure. There was a baby-brother or –sister, that was never born. In their spirit children know it, and they know it could have been them, if they had been conceived at an inconvenient moment.
…children, feeling unsafe, insecure, as a primary person in their life, or somebody whom they trusted, abused them, physically, verbally.
There were those …
…children that are street-kids. Their parents lost them, or they lost their parents during a war, or the parents abandoned them. Living in the underworld, sniffing glue so that they will not hear the screams of the rats.
…children, handicapped, in an orphanage in Romania, lying with three and four on a bed, unable to feed or help themselves. The nurses had left the orphanage, not able to cope with the situation of complete shortage in every respect.
…children, girls, bound to potties in a room in China, left alone in "death chambers." The adults would return only when they knew that no girl was alive.
There are those …
…children, in nice western homes, in good beds, afraid in the dark because of all the horror images in their minds, with the horror animals as toys besides their beds, and with the little demonic figures of Pokemon in their schoolbags.
…children, led by a spirit guide that they created themselves, taught by their teachers, on purpose or irresponsibly naïve.
…children, dressed up as little witches, trying to make fun out of the occult, and then hearing the voices telling them to kill themselves or somebody else.
…children, being taught in the schools that there are many gods, that the Christian God is not the only god, that that god is not important enough to give much attention to when you need to learn so much "important" stuff for your career in life.
…children, who receive sexual education, with graphic pictures and suggestions far beyond their coping level, and polluting them for life.

Is there an end to this list?
This is what the Lord showed me. And of course the journalists and photographers limited themselves to what they thought was interesting enough. How many are the children "un-interesting," yet abandoned physically or spiritually. There are those that I have no awareness of. Is there an end to the list?
These are those many, innumerable many children, that do not know the God who created heaven and earth, who created their spirit in them, whose idea it was to form families where children would be safe, and could meet Him, where they could be nurtured in spirit, soul and body. Children that do not know the Savior of the world, who gave His life also for them, and who said: "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God…"

Raising awareness for the suffering of children, but why?
The closing sentence of the article pointed out that the battle against the abductions only can be successful when attention is paid to prevention and whether "the children’s rights are respected." This last addition, about the children’s rights, how logical it seems to be, makes me suspicious. Why?
In the past, several UN-agencies have used (unproven) abuses as arguments to push through their own, hidden, agenda’s. And behind an article that informs us about terrible abuse, finishing with such a remark, the potential for such an evil intention must not be ignored.

The deceptive push for "Children’s Rights."
September 2001 the UN-summit on the Rights of Children was planned to take place in New York (it was postponed after September 11). The draft for the Program of Action, meant to be issued by that conference, contained proposals that strongly alarmed the Pro-Life and Pro-Family delegates and -lobbyists who visit these UN-conferences. During the meetings preceding the Summit it became clear that when the draft speaks about the reproductive rights for children, the "right" to have an abortion (without parental information or consent) is included. The International Planned Parenthood Federation, IPPF, the largest abortion provider in the world, then called upon its European allies to put pressure on European governments to ratify the sexual rights for children. Their memo said, "Right-wing governments and groups are attempting to insert language in the outcome documents that would strengthen parental authority and control to the detriment of established children's rights. For instance, they are calling for language to be included to the effect that HIV/AIDS counseling for children and adolescents would only be available with the 'knowledge of parents', and generally oppose providing information, education and services to adolescents with respect to their sexual and reproductive health and rights, without parental consent. Clearly, the adoption of such language must be fought against."
IPPF believes parents are the potential enemies of children's rights. They criticize the traditional understanding of family as "based on a man and woman united by marriage and their children", because such institutions," are neither safe, particularly for young girls, nor models of gender equality." Indeed, IPPF was upset that, during the recent preparatory committee meeting in New York, the US delegation emphasized, "the vital role the family plays in the upbringing of children." Though the UN Declaration on Human Rights states "the family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the state," the IPPF would object to this language, and tries to re-interpret its meaning or change the wording. In UN circles the IPPF is one of the most influential NGO’s. It enjoys 'category one' consultative status, which means that it works in close conjunction with UN agencies, including the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank. Some UN observers believe this status implies UN endorsement of IPPF's "reproductive rights" agenda. UNICEF is the agency that is responsible for the organization of the Child Summit and for the draft document of the treaty. If ratified by a government the treaty, called the Program of Action, becomes international law. It supersedes national law, and national laws have to be adjusted to international law.
So, in general, when I read about "respecting children’s rights" a question arises in me: which rights? Rights to be protected, fed, cared for, to be secure, to have parents who can fulfill their God-given responsibility? Or "rights", to be "educated" about the use of condoms already in the nursery, to experiment with sex, (IPPF says: do it, it is fun, it is entertainment, you are entitled to it), to be protected against religious/moral influences of the parents, making nursery mandatory for young children, and so separating the young ones from the parents, "rights" to have an abortion when you are 12 years old, and to "privacy" so that your parents will not know about it? The UN High Commissioner for the Human Rights has declared that the "Right to development" is the number one human right. It is now interpreted as becoming to mean that every limitation of development (by parental and/or religious or cultural constraints) in the near future will be considered as a crime against humanity.

Overwhelming evil, and how to face it.
Yet, of course, children that are stolen for the reasons suggested by Mr. Estrada, are going through a terrible ordeal. And the governments in the nations where these things take place have a responsibility to care for their little inhabitants, and to protect them from these crimes.
As I said, the Lord woke me up, to pray for these children. I did not search in my memory for these faces and these stories, but they came. When I saw in my mind the pictures of the faces of suffering children that I had seen over the last years, I was overwhelmed. What ordeals are these children going through when they are kidnapped, carried off, and when their fate unfolds? The agony is indescribable.
I understood that the Lord was calling my attention to a reality that is so devastating terrible that I just had to see and watch and remember. I realized: I cannot cope with this, the suffering of so many children I cannot comprehend. If I could, if I could empathize with all this suffering, my heart would literally break. I am finite, my empathy is finite, this is too much for me to digest emotionally.
I also realized: the Lord knows this, He does not ask of me to empathize in depth with all the suffering. I do not know all these millions of children, but He does. He sees every child, in its pain, in its agony. He heard the scream of a boy, imprisoned in a Satanist temple: "Is there no one who cares?" Yes, there is one, Who cares, Who cared so much that He gave His life, and was made sin, as there was and is no other real solution at the core of this all. He took the sin and the pain upon Himself, and His heart broke, literally.
But I also realized this: part of the suffering, purposely inflicted on children, is not only not covered by the children’s rights, but is in fact caused by the evil push of the UN-supported feminist and New Age agendas, which exalts free sex and destructs family life, that exalts personal development and destructs God’s view on and destiny for children. What we can face, we must face!

The responsibility of the Body of Christ.
The enemy tries to devour the children, in whatever way he can. The Father knows each child; Jesus sees each child. I told the Father that I want to know His heart about the children that are so dear to Him. I do believe that He wants us to rise up and say: enough! No more!
The Lord is preparing an army of intercessors worldwide. We start to realize more and more: we are on a battle-field. The victims are everywhere around us. I cannot be silent, now I have realized so much deeper than before what is happening to the children in the world, how the enemy steals, kills, and destroys.
Why is he doing this on a scale we have not seen before?

An apocalyptic threat for an apocalyptic generation.
In Revelation 12:4,5 we read that "The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born. She bore a male child ("something male") who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and His throne". There may be different explanations about who the woman is, and who the child is. I do believe that the woman is the global end-time Church who prophetically, in travailing prayer, brings forth the apostolic generation (something male) that will rule with Christ with apostolic authority and anointing, ruling the nations in a way that is inspired from God’s throne. When that generation is being birthed Satan knows that his judgment is very close. With every strategy he can think of he tries to prevent that generation to be born, to be loved by godly parents, to be trained in the way they should go, to be exposed to Gods love, to be free to receive Christ’s righteousness, and to learn to overcome and keep Jesus works until the end, because of which Jesus will give them power over the nations, to "rule them with a rod of iron", as also Jesus has power received from the Father. Rev. 2: 26,27. It is Jesus Himself who promises this to the end-time church.
John saw the great sign of the woman IN the heavens; in 1997 astronomers saw this sign, as a constellation of stars, AT the heavens: the Virgin, with stars around her head, over the moon opposite the sun; computer models showed that this had never happened before. I do believe that the Lord was showing us that the time of the fulfilment of what John saw has come. A woman who is giving birth is focussed on the child: it HAS to be born. She is no longer interested in the things around her, "the things of the world". The global end-time church, the Bride, has to focus on the birth of this child, "something male". Without travail it will not be born.
The God who created each of the children, and who has a destiny for every one, also for all those who are a victim of the enemy, is waiting for us.

How will we respond?
It is obvious that we need to cover our own children in prayer daily, as they are targets of the enemy. It is as well obvious that in our congregations we need to pray for the children in our midst and for those that come to our children’s clubs. Can we set aside time to pray for them and for the children of the world? Can we support mercy ministries that reach out to children in their need, so that they have the financial means to care for them? Are we screening what our children see on TV, what they read, are we watching them when they play, and with whom? I do not mean that we have to become suspicious regarding every thing, but we cannot afford ourselves to be sleeping when the wolves come and steal our sheep.
Most strategic for the children that are entrusted to us is that we become alert for the plans of Satan, instead of allowing ourselves to be ignorant concerning his strategies. When we digest the above-mentioned IPPF-memo, it may dawn on us that we need to fight against the plans that governments, drenched in the IPPF-philosophy, develop for the education of our children. We have to resist the plans that aim at separating the children from the parents most part of the day, and then delivering them into the hands of people who can influence them with their philosophy. A French official teaching book for primary school teaches children how they can become a witch, what the career prospects are, and how they can train themselves already when they are still young. A Californian official teaching book teaches everything about becoming Muslim, including adopting a new name, where at the same time Christianity is ridiculed and kept outside the school because of the "separation between state and church".

I do believe that we need to seek Gods mercy in a continuing way, in faithful, (travailing) prayer, so that the enemy will not devour them. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to show us how we can take our place in standing up for the children. When we sincerely ask Him, He will show us. And let us do it.
